Cassy / A Guy Called Gerald  Techno legend A Guy Called Gerald gets paired up with chick of the moment Cassy for this latest Beatstreet offering. The A-side finds Cassy with one eye on early nineties warehouse fare, complete with authentically retro piano sounds stabbing through the track's skeletal, but expertly assembled beats. Cassy layers her own vocals into the mix, which add a nice touch of human dynamism to proceedings. Meanwhile, Gerald draws from his recent Proto Acid/Berlin Sessions-style material to produce some deep, padded bass and spiralling hi-hat machinery for a skewed yet effortlessly solid beat.
