Several hundred words and I haven't mentioned Gerald yet. Things are looking up . . . The Gerald LP is looking pretty grimy these days having been picked up by WEA who demanded the original's withdrawal, only to drop Gerald with the acid backlash/garage hype. One person who looks set to do well out of this sorry tale of corporate incompetence is Colin Thorpe of The Producers: he is rumoured to have 2,000 copies of what has now become a very rare LP.
