Comments:

Brand new Herbie Hancock album that finally gets a release, initially in Japan, and then followed by the US. This is a return to collaboration between Herbie and Bill Laswell (who produced 'Rockit'), and features Gerald on the track 'Black Gravity'. Other collaborators on the album include Carl Craig, Chaka Khan, and (of course) Jack DeJohnette (long time Herbie & Miles Davis collaborator). The Japanese release featured an exclusive extra track, "Essence (DJ Krush Mix)" - nothing to do with Gerald, despite the name of the track!
