|1 December: Bosconi Gang Band - "Big Mob At Manifattura Tabacchi" (featuring a collaboration with A Guy Called Gerald on two tracks) - out 15th January 2020|
A new EP by Bosconi Gang Band, entitled "Big Mob At Manifattura Tabacchi" will be released on 15th January 2020. The EP will feature two tracks featuring a collaboration with Gerald: "150 Snappy" and "180 Blowing".
Artist: Bosconi Gang Band
Manifattura Tabacchi is a former cigar and cigarette production site that is having a renaissance thanks to an innovative urban regeneration project. Back in June, the Bosconi Records crew rocked up there for a live hardware jam session featuring an array of musicians from the label including Fabio Della Torre on the mixer and Dukwa, Ennio Colaci, Herva, Mass Prod, Rufus, The Clover on the instruments with the special participation of A Guy Called Gerald. Now comes the record with the exceptional results all pressed to wax.
‘138 - Swinging’ explores a broken beat style with spinning hi hats and intergalactic funk of the highest order. ‘150 - Snappy’ then picks up pace with corrugated drum lines and twanging guitars freaking you out, and ‘180 - Blowing’ is a hyper-driven experiment with old school dusty jungle beats and gloopy synths while ‘110 - Offhand’ is a deeper, more thoughtful track with whispered vocals and a dreamy vibe.
This is adventurous electronic music that goes well off grid, plays with strange temps, weird textures and occult moods and is utterly original as a result.
All Tracks Performed by:
Recorded Live at Manifattura Tabacchi Firenze
Arranged, Mixed and Additional Production by Fabio Corcos at Bosconi Records Studio
Worldwide distribution Syncrophone

|28 January: Freaky Dancing The Complete Collection Book - Published February|
Freaky Dancing was handed out at the legendary Manchester club.
A new anthology collecting the short-lived Hacienda fanzine Freaky Dancing will be published by TQ, The Quietus reports.
Produced between July 1989 and August 1990, the fanzine was initially handed out in the queue for free, before being sold around Manchester for a modest 50p.
Although only eleven issues were published, the fanzine has assumed cult status for its role in documenting a turbulent 12 months in both the evolution of acid house and the club it called home.
Factory Records boss Tony Wilson apparently called it “the most important piece of journalism I’ve read in the last twenty years.”
Compiled by Paul ‘Fish Kid’ Gill and Ste Pickford, Freaky Dancing: The Complete Collection features a new foreword by A Guy Called Gerald, with a launch event in Manchester planned for 2nd March.
Freaky Dancing: The Complete Collection will be published on 21st February.
