Yes that is indeed true, and the font is also slightly different in the 
80, mind I did this not as a perminent thing, as I had an 81, but as a 
quick test that the rest of the machine was working, which it was :)

Mind I do have one of my Spectrum +2 machines setup with an addon rom 
board, and the port of the ZX80/81 roms for that machine so I can have a 
machine that is switchable ZX80/81/Spectrum +2.....
