Humm acording to the Data sheets I have here for the TI2532 and 
Fairchild 2732, some of the pins *DO* differ namely :-

pin    2532    2732    
18     A11     CS
20     PD/PGM  G/VPP
21     VPP     A11

So there *IS* a difference.

Most significantly if you dump Dragon 32 cartriges which mostly used 
2532, cirtainly the early ones, as if they where 2732s you get a bad dump :(
