Talking of which, I have a dying MS Sidewinder force feedback steering
wheel which is on its last...errr... wheels. (Digressing slightly, I'm
extremely irritated that MS haven't even bothered to update the software
for their own product to use it with XP, another example of the chuckout
mentality... it's only 7 years old! :-( ) Anyway, the centering jumps
out of whack regularly which makes driving a real challenge; someone
suggested I chuck some WD40 at the pots... is that sound advice? Can
anyone recommend a suitable forum for discussing this? I can't even get
the darn thing dismantled, and that's not a problem I usually have. :-|
