Subject: New to list
Hi my name is Giuseppe and I am new to your list. Actually I'm new to BBC
computers as well.
I'm planning on getting a hold of a BBC system very soon, but had a couple of
questions.
My ultimate goal is to find and run a specific MIDI program. The software
was produced around 1985 by a company named U-Music Software and the actual
program was called the (UMI-2B) and was designed to run on a BBC B. I
believe the software package consisted of a couple of disks and an external
MIDI interface box.
Has anyone on this list heard of this program or know where I might be able
to
get a copy?
I am planning on getting a Master 128 to run this program, is this a good
choice?
I read somewhere that the Master series had problems running BBC B
applications and something about a problem with the internal memory backup
battery blowing up.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Giuseppe
