Raspberry Pip3

The two previous version of the Raspberry Pip were satisfactorily neat and tiny, but very cramped to build and required some difficult fabrication for the HDMI connection. This version has much more headroom and uses readily available parts for the HDMI.

The lid opens easily and there is a reasonable amount of room

The inside in detail

The case is sold for cigarettes, with a decorative picture on the top, but it is just the right size for a Pi, with very little modification needed
The HDMI connection is the flexible inside of a 180 degree adaptor to the usual micro adaptor with outside plastic cut off.
The micro-USB connector is a widely available breakout board.
The Pi locates on a plastic support plate that is widely available. There is a micro-SD adpator in the SD slot.
The super-capacitors at the top left are to supply current when the Lapdock lid is closed and momentarily switches off.
The circuit board on top of the board in the centre is a real-time clock from CJEMicro's.
The GPIO pins have been replaced by the inside of a flat cable header. Wires are pushed into the exposed press fit connectors. This may yet be replaced.
There is an on/off switch and a reset button at the top right.
