Hello All!

Wasn't that a brilliant episode of DS9 on Sky last night: 3rd November.
I really enjoyed the bit where they avoid telling us why the Klingons
looked so different in the original series.

Anyone else got any comments on the episode?

Woah, I was just about to post about this one. I thought it was one of the
best I've ever seen. The way they used the crap special effects of the
original together with the new technology was brilliant! Does anybody
actually know what heppend to the klingons? I always assumed they had a
high rate of evolution or something.

THE GOODS

* I thought the fight was pretty cool, the way they used the hammy stunts
  from the original.

* The bit where Kirk was telling the crew off and you had Bashir and O
  Brian standing right next to the original cast members.

* Bashir saying "I'm a doctor not a historian"

* Dax in that uniform... ahhh.

 Both mate, as 'real' time went on Star trek budgets got bigger and the
 money for the prosthetics was increases hence, better Klingon makeup.

 Also, I know why the Klingons changed their physical appreance.....but I
 don't care to discuss it with 'outsiders' ....<vbg>....

 Ever thought Q was having a play about with their Gene's?.... :)))
