I've just dug out my (boxless) one.
Orange wire connects to just about IC4
Yellow wire to near to a 22u cap.
These go to a socket for the external power connector -
(assuming I've got it the right way up) looking into the back of the
plug, ie. looking directly into the socket, yellow is top right pin,
and orange is middle right.
I really ought to see if mine works too...
