Subject: Morley Teletext Adapter

These units are a B**Stard to open, they use the Viglen cases, which are a
push fit, and once together, is a sod to get apart, but it is possible. If
you look at the sides on the inside, you will see clips that need to be
prised backwards, in order to ease the case open, theres one on each side at
the front, and another at the rear.

As for the wiring, I may have one left intact somewhere, I tend to vandalise
them and chuck the innards, and use it as a 5.25" floppy case!

Mark.

Subject: [BBC-Micro] Morley Teletext Adapter

I am trying to get my Morley Teletext Adapter working (S-VHS VCR
in the post!!) but there is no power connector on it. It plugs into the
aux. power on the BBC. There are two wires coming out of the back of
the adapter, an orange one and a yellow one.

Does anyone know what goes where?

I've tried to open the Morley adapter. There is only one screw underneath
which has only caused a rattling inside after I took it out. I can't see a
way
of opening it without breaking it open which I want to avoid.

Best wishes,

Ian
