When i wrote the original econet code for beebem, it was intended to
be inter-operable with AUN machines, but not having anything that
spoke AUN, it was a bit of a guess.

There's an Econet.cfg file that lists the stations and ip/port
numbers in it. If you create, say, station 100 at another address on
your network, and from within beebem key *I AM 0.200 SYST  then you
should see some packets generated..

Again, in thoery, it should allow the emulated beeb to communicate
with a "native" fileserver ..

If anybody has a spare ethernet card for an A5000 they can let me
have (and detailed instructions on setting it, and AUN, up) I will
try and get it all working!

Oh, and yes, there is nothing inherently impossible about setting up
a econet that is spread about the world, using AUN, apart from the
slow response times ..
