If *Cat works but you can't load anything, its likely. If *Cat doesn't
work then
its probably not that. I'm using the fs webmail thing at the moment, so I can't
check back the old messages :(

The heads may have got out of alignment. I have re-aligned heads using
a screwdriver
and trial and error before, but it's not a very good solution and not something
I
would reccomend.

As I said in a private email, I have various machines and drives here you are
welcome to use to either read the data or help eliminate just what is (and
isn't)
working.
