Sun! A gloriously sunny day made for an excellent afternoon in the Oxfordshire countryside. After an absence of some six years, RAF Brize Norton arranged a photocall for primarily RAF aircraft, with a few visitors to add a continental flavour. Although the list of participants didn't live up to early expectations, one cannot blame the organisers who, as ever, are at the mercy of 'operational commitments' and 'aircraft serviceability'. Excellently organised, with the aircraft positioned well for the afternoon sun, it provided an early season chance to brush off the camera equipment, remember which dial and button does what and be a bit creative. Let's hope for more of the same in the future.
