The Call module was written after a discussion about programming regular events in the newsgroups. This uses the already available SWIs OS_CallAfter and OS_CallEvery to send messages to tasks.
The latest version of the Toolbox, only available with RISC OS Select 6, has a similar Toolbox_Timer, but that can only be used with objects and gadgets.
