There come some rare moments

When, looking in the eyes of the wicked,

I see something

That leaves no place for hatred in my heart,

And I feel that I can love

All the people of the world.

Then I say to myself:

"Perhaps,

Not only sorrow and innocence,

But all the evil done on the earth

Are our answers to emptiness

And death!"

And it is just then that I feel

That I can also hate

All the people of the World
