And I would dream,
that I lay beside you,
as sunlight gathers through your window,
and I would be watching you sleep,
so gently, I would kiss your eyes as you wake
and your body would retract into a smile,
almost like a submission,
you would close your eyes,
and we would fold into a love's embrace,
so slowly time would stop,
sweetness of love cascade and dimension,
would fall away into lovers space,
and you would smile that perfect smile,
a smile that could disarm ancient warriors,
and light a thousand dreams.
