Description & Medium	This is the third in a trio of "Japanese Symbolism" paintings. Katy has used the flower Chrysanthemum as a theme for this intricate painting. The chrysanthemum is the floral emblem of the imperial family of Japan; the highest officials are honoured by orders of the chrysanthemum. As in the other two paintings, Katy's use of relief paints creates a new dimension. Mixed Media
